of mosquitoes and
to minimize the opportunity for mosquitoes to bite. Pestgon endeavors to

Steps you can take to help control mosquitoes include:
• Eliminating standing water in your yard. This can be as little as an
inch of water in the bottom of a flower pot.
• The use of repellant in and around the structure
• Using screens and netting to keep mosquitoes out of your home
• Remove old tires or any unused containers that might hold water
• Using larvicide in water gardens or ponds
• Remove algae from ponds. Mosquito larvae feed on algae and other small
organisms which live in water
To reduce your exposure to mosquitoes:
• Avoid unnecessary outdoor activity when mosquitoes are active such as
dawn,
dusk
and
early evening
• Wear mosquito proof clothing ie .long-sleeved shirts and long pants
• Use an insect repellent
